Quick Start Guide & Setup
Follow this step-by-step walkthrough to get FlowXport configured and start exporting clean Salesforce Flow documentation in seconds.
Step 1: Open FlowXport in Salesforce
Navigate to any active Salesforce Flow inside the Flow Builder. Click on your browser extensions toolbar and open the FlowXport popup.
Step 2: Get Your OpenAI API Key
FlowXport utilizes AI to analyze your flow logic. You will need your own OpenAI API key to power this feature:
- Head over to the OpenAI API Keys Dashboard.
- Log in to your account and click Create new secret key.
- Copy your new key (it starts with
sk-) and keep it secure.
Step 3: Enter Your Key and Export
Paste your API key directly into the FlowXport extension popup field. Click Export Flow Documentation, and the tool will automatically analyze your flow and download a formatted HTML report.
Understanding Your Limits & Tiers
FlowXport offers a free tier for initial testing so you can evaluate the export capabilities. Once you're ready to unlock unlimited documentation, choose the tier that fits your needs:
- Solo User Tier (Premium): Perfect for individual Salesforce administrators and consultants looking for unlimited personal exports.
- Business Tier: Tailored for teams and organisations requiring multi-user access and centralized management.
You can easily plug in a valid license key via the extension settings menu to instantly activate your tier.
